This week Cole fights-off the creepy Elden Le Blanc. And she is forced to make a choice that may change her life forever….

Jabali - Great catch with the Eve metaphor. I was trained to spot that kind of stuff (I have a bachelors degree in American Literature) but I didn't see it here until you pointed it out. It fits nicely but in all fairness to Cole, her father went through the same ordeal (that story will be told next issue). And as to why women are portrayed in myths and legends as "curious creatures that bring doom to humankind" I really don't know. My guess is that because we live in a paternalistic culture that supplanted an earlier matriarchal culture, myths were created by men to keep women down and in their place (ie witches, Eve and the apple, etc.) But that's just a guess.
Lemniskate - You're right. Cole's plan was not well thought-out. But maybe someone or something is influencing her?
Braindonor - You called it! But I opted for hot wax in the eye rather than a bonk on the head.
Azujod - I'm not sure, but that would be a funny bit to include in the story. Herrik is a former priest of Alvik and we'll see him in that role shortly.
thefightingstranger - LOL.
Doctor Shadow - Thanks again, Doc. :)
SoItBegins - LOL. That pun never occurred to me!
