I'm starting to get the hang of adding the tonal stuff. I never was taught how to do anything photoshop, so I am learning as I mess around with it.
I might do up a bio, character like sheet, to give everybody an idea of the major players in the story, and what they are all about.
This is also , more than likely, the last of my multiple updates. I do not want to burn through the remaining pages so fast, since, I have yet to begin the next full volume. Vol 1, which you are reading now, lasts about 100 pages, which we are basically entering the 70 range. I am collecting Engine into a 100 page , Manga size graphic novel in a few weeks, which, hopefully will be sold and distributed through book chains, diamond previews, and through me. I am also doing a special edition which will have an original sketch, and possibly different cover. I used to self publish in the 80's and 90's under my companies, Fathom Press, Doom Theatre and recently, Shadow Planet, so I know it is alot of work, and alot of luck, but I have a vision for this particular series and I really want to try to fullfill it.
I thank everybody for looking and reading and commenting on Engine. I have been working on this volume, on and off (mostly off…..) for 6 years or so, so it is awesome to finally hear people's opinions and observations. All I can say is thank you, and it really gets better from this point. :-)
