Actually, he really isn't dead. He has become the power of Champtim, Eternity and all the other authors battling against the virus, trying to reclaim DD.
And another thing, those kinds of questions are to be asked and then answered in the board. Just go to the User Forums (Bottom of the forum page) and click Aussie's Domain. You can 'Ask the Cast' as the author is a member of the cast
