Damn, ditches are hard to do.

So… did he win? Did they run off? Were they blasted to pieces? Are they just out of view, about to counter? And just what happened with the glowing eyes?

Remember, this part of the story won't be happening for quite some time, so when it does come to chapter one, none of this would have happened yet. Basically, it's like FFX where the first half was a flash back.
