I had to take out an effect because then it would have looked like some one was pissing out electricity.
So I've been looking around and it seems that there aren't really any places that will publish established comics any more. Seven Seas and DC just want artists for their work, Tokyopop just wants you to help translate their stuff or draw for them, Viz won't even take a look and you have to be at a con in the US at the right time just to get an idea to Dark Horse or Marvel.
Why am I looking for publishers? A while ago I joined up with a manga group known as 'Manifest Studios'. I wrote out a little horror graphic novel series for one of the artists and barely heard about any progress. Now, the same artist says all she needs is a deadline and a possible contract and that should light the fire for her to get it done.
Anyway, I'm going to head over to Demented Dragon and see what they have to offer.
