BGHQ was down, so I couldn't do the sprite part. Too bad though, I wanted to try out those new sprites. Oh well.

Lately I've been reading a lot of Graphic Novels from DC or Marvel and I've really been wanting to write my own. I've narrowed it down to either writing my own Blade series, or doing a graphic novel set from the Joker's point of view, where he meets up with an old family member who tells the Batman what Joker was like before. I think this family member will be even more of a sadist than the man himself.

But, in the meantime, I've been writing a comic series for Warriors of the Night. Not like the graphic novel version I have now, but like the 22 page comics you can get off a magazine rack, with a collection every 6 or 8 issues. Maybe someday.

And I've also been practicing my own art skills. Getting a little better, but I do still tend to stuff up on full body sketches (Thighs down are my biggest problem. I just cannot do feet for some reason). I've found a ruler can really help you. I measure their head size (Top to chin) and then the entire body is seven heads high (Head included). I've actually done a not too bad Supergirl, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. Can't do capes right though. Oh well, I will eventually.
