For those wondering what the difference is between when Kayo performed the white fire fist and when Inferno did, there are few key differences
1. Kayo had been a mage for much longer than Inferno had when he performed the technique
2. Kayo didn't even really perform the white fire fist as Inferno did. Inferno formed the fire in front of his hand, while Kayo was able to simply set his hand on fire. Inferno's hair changed color as he drew more energy to protect his hand, not to form flame.
