While Nox's attacks require him to prepare them in advance and he made no attempt to hide his prepared spell weaves, He won with his first offensive attack and never did give his opponent the chance to realize or exploit Nox's lack of flexibility. He probably never noticed the spells being cast in Nox's hand, since Nox was distracting him by boasting.
