I was having problems with DrunkDuck yesterday, so I didn't get to update; hopefully today will work.

This is just a quiet little scene with Fusion and Grasshopper having that coffee mentioned at the end of last page and Grasshopper talking about his first encounter with Inkblot and explaining how he is "immune" to Inkblot's mind control. The mention of the sunglasses explains the glowing sunglasses on the cop back on page 16.

For those interested in story inspiration, a few years ago, the newspaper my uncle gets was including reprints of Amazing Fantasy 15 and the first half-dozen or so issues of The Amazing Spider-Man; lucky for me, my uncle knew I'd be interested in them and took the time to mail them to me. The backstory of Grasshopper's first encounter with Inkblot and resultant first meeting with the Fabulous Five is a nod to Amazing Spider-Man #1 in which Spidey breaks into the Baxter Building to impress the Fantastic Four in the hopes that they'd hire him, since Spidey figures the FF gets paid well.
