Here's page 24 of Fusion #4, bringing Fusion's outing with Grasshopper to a close and perhaps answering some of your questions about why she didn't just call anyone. More of her alibi will be explained in the next few pages because, despite the apparent end to this scene, there's still 3 more pages until we move on to the next night.
