Here's page 13 of Fusion #5, and it looks like the robot has absolutely no protection from Fusion. For those wondering about the nearly perfect hole that Fusion produced, she went through the robot twisting with her arms extended to her sides. Due to my limited figure-drawing skills, I only show her after emerging. Of course, she does fly fast, so I don't know if anyone could exactly see what she was doing–only the result. Still, it seems that the robot has at least one secondary defense.
