Okay, so the plot device is sort of pre-used (many different magicians have ripped out their hearts to prevent death, Davy Jones from PotC and Amelius (LOVE!) have both done so to keep away emotional pain), but for Kali, it's different. I know exactly how, too. And I even have a plot planned for it. (of course, it must be delayed long enough to get prerequisite plots done and Tasuke's fanart posted, but…)

No, this is not a poor excuse to draw a shirtless skinny boy. I've got that comic already written.

The super fun part of this comic is that it stays most true to the RL basises of the characters. Don't ask me why D feels the need to lift his shirt periodically. And don't ask me how closely I look, either, because you'll get neither answer. (Though I did do my compulsive, 'Eat! Eat before you starve to death, skinny boy!' routine)
