As you can see, what's above is not my normal nicely rendered page. Damnit.
Why? Because I had the opportunity to earn a little money, and I took it. Then again, this was supposed to be a one-day job.
Hmm… Wednesday - 6-ish hours Thursday - 10 hours… roughly… I think… got a little foggy there.
And there's still work to finish tomorrow. Then tear-down on Sunday. Oy.
But I did promise two pages a week, and two pages you will get. Even if I have to steal a friend's computer tomorrow afternoon. Right after I steal his hot tub. =grin=
What's up there -is- Page 30… and not. Rather, it's the rough draft of the page, the thing I scribble and scrawl out between various jobs and appointments, and waiting for the bus.
So while I'm cutting 9-foot rolls of paper to 7 feet, and then stapling them to booth walls, you get a brief glimpse at how I work things out.
And also why I do them in Poser. =g= I actually can draw a bit better… but I'm sloooow…
See you all tomorrow!
Mitz
Oh… -why- am I doing all this crazy work this week?
Two words, my friends: New laptop. If I took what I'll have earned, stole what the hubby earned, and didn't make the car payment, I'd have enough for one that would do what I need. Because I'm neither that cruel or foolish… it's about halfway there. Or about twenty percent of the one I -want- (tablet, ooooooh…).
Now it's off to bed, where the hubby can apply Tiger Balm… to my -feet-… ow…
UPDATE: (9/2/09) Sooo… The final count for set up and tear down was painful, enough that my "day job" has even been drawn out more than usual.
However, the good news is that, thanks to all those hours and some careful shopping, I have my new laptop!
And except for it having Vista, it is in many ways better than my desktop. So while the pages aren't done yet (I do have a few frames though, at least), I now have the ability to work while I'm out and about… which has been far more than usual, this week.
