I've gotten my computer back! I'm super happy to be able to start working on the digital side of comic pages once again. Right now my pencils are so far ahead of where they usually are, if I can pick up the pace of my digital workings I'll be able to switch to a faster update schedule (even if temporarily). To give you an idea of how far I've been able to pull ahead with the pencils, page 63 is up and I'm currently penciling page 110. If I was working at my normal pace, I'd only have pencils done through about page 95. The down side of working so far ahead is that I really want to increase the update schedule, even though it would not be a sustainable pace.

I still want to give a 3x a week update schedule in December but between two jobs that is just not going to happen. I might be able to pull of a 3x a week update schedule in February but only time will tell. And I'm not thinking of February because it is a short month (with the leap year I'd actually be putting out as many just as many 3x a week updates in February as I would be in January or March) but for an entirely unrelated reason.

As for this page, those are floating orbs of magical light that only sort of resemble fire and I almost forgot about them. I looked at what I thought was a finished page and realized that I forgot to add the light sources because I forgot they're in a room with no windows (I tend to forget
windows exist). My whole thought process was, "that doesn't look right…I forgot the light orbs…those look lame…if they look fiery then maybe they'll look better and more light giving…" It was not a deep process.
