The problem is more with who is expressing those beliefs than the beliefs themselves as Adrik is not using the general you. For example, it would cause no problems for him to publicly express monotheistic beliefs. He is very much trying to protect Fae from a very big Hope related problem with his correction of Fae's language on today's page.



Back at the end of June, I busted up my rotator cuff. Luckily it wasn't torn but the pain was unbearable until the meds kicked in. I bring this up now because this page is the first page I worked on (in a set of 6 pages) after the injury. Since I was not able to work on pages for any extended period of time (it never took long for the pain to kick in), I took some short cuts with the art. Most notably (and I think is the most obvious) is the change in how fabric is shaded. So if you noticed the change in the shading, you definitely noticed correctly.
