Some days I have a really hard time telling right from left, on a really bad day I have to look at the moles and freckles around my wrists to let me know which direction is which. That makes drawing or inking hands on one of my bad days a really big challenge. Fae's right hand in the first panel was the victim of one of my bad days. I can't tell you how many times I drew and redrew that one hand because I couldn't tell which hand it was. Even when I took the same pose as Fae I couldn't get it right. But what I found most amusing was that when I finally thought I got things right during the inking process, I ended up inadvertently drawing Fae giving Adrik the finger instead of her having an angry tense hand because I mistook finger placement on the hand and I didn't even notice until I coming back to work on the page a different day. I even thought of keeping the finger giving Fae ink until I thought about it, she'd not do that in this situation. There are other pages in the archives where I've struggled with not putting a left hand on a right arm but no where near the magnitude of the problems that Fae's right hand gave me on this page.
