EDIT: New Page TONIGHT- It'll be suspenseful

Sorry its a day late but although I came home early from school today with a stomachache I felt better and more active tonight then I did last night. So I managed to finish the new page for all of you tonight :D

It drags on, I know. But Marissa's gotta hug her friend too you know. I drew a whole hospital room to keep your interest. I hope you like it ;)
So not much to say about this page. Just that they're happy to see each other again. I wanted to talk about a book I finished today that had me crying in starbuck as I read it. 'My Sister's Keeper' by Jodi Picolt is about a girl is was created as a 'designer baby' to donate bone marrow to her sister who has leukemia. The story is about how the girl wants to be medically emacipated from her parents because she's never had a choice of her own. It deals with such tough issues and the end surprised me so much. It was also beautifully written and I'd reccommend it to anyone reading this comic too because bone marrow donation will be a part of this story soon also.

Anyway, some other good news is my mom's very expensive maintenance therapy chemotherapy which was previsouly uncovered by our insurance company has just been approved by the government this week, so that's made our family happy. We live in Canada and most treatments are covered by the government and this whole experience has caused me to think more about people in other countries who need these life-saving treatments but can't afford it. It makes me realize how lucky we are and I send my prayers out to those others with financial burdens.

Take care everyone, and thanks for reading.
I don't have my work schedule yet so I don't know when the next update will be. Either Tues or Thurs :)
