EDIT: I'm all off schedule because I've had to redraw this next page over and over again because I'm never happy with it. It'll be up either Saturday or Sunday. I really hope Saturday….

Baby the Stars Shine Brightly!

Been watching Kamikaze Girls (AKA Shimotsuma no mongatari) Its quite fun to watch silly Japanese movies you've seen dozens of times so you're confident enough to watch it while drawing at the same time. I noticed alot of the new sentence structure and vocab I've learned in Japanese class show up too which made me feel special XD

So… I went completely off topic there. But here's the new page. Yup I left you in suspense. Angela's all freaked out cuz her aunt wants her to tell something to Marissa. What is it? Oh the suspense! :P
I bet you all already know, but this was a fun page anyway. Got the story moving again, and I haven't drawn Angela that much lately since I stuck her in the hospital for the past eleven pages :p. She's easier then Marissa. I think that Francesca (Angela's Aunt) is the hardest to draw and boys take me hours to get right so when a boy shows up (yes there are boys in this comic) don't count on quick updates. ^^;;

Today I listened to the Buffalo radio station Kiss 98.5 most of the day because they were doing a radio telethon for a children's hospital there. It made me remember when I came with my mom for her chemo and they were doing one there (its a Hamilton hospital with a small Children's hospital attached.) I like telethons like that. They always have such inspiring stories and they manage to raise so much money to help these kids. If you ever hear or see one on TV I hope you can find it in your heart to donate to it for Ethereal and Abigail who its dedicated to. :)

I guess I've assumed this is the drunkduck blog since before we had a blog (which, by the way, I tried out and it didn't work T_T) I'm such a ranter. Anyway, here's my last story. I came home from school day and my mom was looking all serious and took awhile to talk to me so I got all freaked out that she was going to tell me something bad about her health and she tells me that Anna Nicole Smith died….. I'm sorry but was not worth it. I'm sorry for her family and the little baby that's left behind but right now whenever I hear about it I associate it with the fear about my mom. ARGH.

PS, My avatar is my friend from all the way back in pre-school, Elyse and me. Inspired by Nigellashade's beautiful comic 'Ancestral Heavens' who always thanks others for helping with her comic I decided I would give my thanks out to Elyse too. She has always supported my writing by reading my first novella thingy 'Security Blnaket (and naming it!) She is a pre-reader of the novel and gives me great non-biased criticisms, has followed the comic from the beginning and tonight told me she was thinking of designing book covers for the story on her own time. For all this I'm always grateful, and we hardly get to see each other anymore so I thought I'd do a tribute on this page. Thank you for all the help always Elyse! I hope you read this.
