Sorry about the little wait there. I would say to myself I'd update one day and then because I didn't actually write it down anywhere I would decide not to :p I even scanned, cleaned up, added text and panneled this page last week and did the toning tonight. Oh well, here it is. Angela's secret revealed. And yes I've been to chemo clinics and yes they look like that. Comfy (not) little chairs to sleep in while you're infused with toxic medicine for several hours. Fun :P Atleast it makes you tired so its easier to sleep.
Anyway, since this page actually identifies Angela's type of cancer I thought I'd give an overview to how I will handle the complex medical information in this story. First, I want you all to know I spent a long time researching this story and of course have seen some things for myself with my mom's cancer and other volunteer oppurtunities. Most instances should be completely plausible and if I do go off into fiction land I will explain. So my first explanation is on ALL or Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This will provide more information then I can explain in this small space so please take a look if you're interested. The basic facts are that ALL is a cancer of the blood, the most common cancer in children and actually has a high cure rate with 85% of children surviving for more then 5 years. If relaspe occurs after treatment and remission a bone marrow transplant can be a logical step in the process toward a cure.
So with what is already known about Angela you might be able to understand more of what will happen next with this information (but maybe not Marissa :P ) And so thank you as always for reading and let the story continue….
