This one took awhile as usual, although I've had it drawn out and ready for weeks now. But I've been swamped with projects and exams. I'm on my 'summer vacation' now. Two weeks of October-like bliss filled with shivering in rainy cold at Canada's Wonderland, driving mom to her chemo and begrudging myself of the big comic con next week because I have no money! XP I also had to say goodbye to one of my best friends from college. She's gone back to Ottawa for a few weeks before going back to her home in Japan. I've decided I'm going to Ottawa before that happens so don't look for an update next week ^^;;

Anyway, what do you think? I don't think I could go as far as Marissa does in this page if in a similar situation (and I have experienced something like this with my mom) but in the next few pages you'll see that Marissa has a lot of anger inside, and this is just her character. Angela and Marissa are really complete opposites and thats what makes their friendship so strong. Angela keeps Marissa from exploding :P
Also this whole scene is what drives the story so I hope you don't resent it. Basically you'll see Marissa try to make it up to Angela throughout the rest of the story after this, and then you'll see why the tagline is 'how far would you go to save your friend's life'. Do a little research into leukemia and it's treatments and you might figure out what I mean by that before I reveal it ;)
