Marissa has more issues then previously shown. I'll show more of this scene later, because its not supposed to really happen til after the school scene. Basically her mom sucks and made an already terrible day even worse for her. And her parents are divorced. So she stayed at her dad's after coming home from the hospital and didn't tell her mom. Um.. yeah.. it'll actually show up in the pages later but I thought I'd give you the gist of it :P

Also, obviously I didn't draw the house or the school background, (if you can tell thats what it is) But I did draw the desks. Bad, shaky lined desks. And the writing on Marissa's shirt is not a mistake. Its supposed to say 'Melissa' which is a brand name of clothing I collect that donates some of their profits to cancer research. They made a big appearance when I wrote 'Ethereal' as a novel, but I forgot to make it show up in here… so here it is. Basically if you know the brand name 'Roxy', 'Melissa' is a more plain version of that, and no, there's no website or any info I can give you about it. I just knew the designer's daughter was named Melissa and died from cancer before being able to continue the business.

OK, thanks for reading everyone. Expect to see more of Kari now instead of Angela for awhile. She's my lil hero ^^
