Skyriel and Luna might be peers but there is no love lost between them.

Luna and Skyriel actually have a huge backstory. They were two of a small army of adventures which helped bring the world into its current era over throwing a hostile tyrant. Years later they are not the movers and shakers of the world. I thought this was shockingly original when I wrote it, but then I played Lunar which has a somewhat similar set up though a very different plot.
