I don't know if I could still use the name "The Darkness" or not. To be sure I had it before the Top Cow comic ever did, but I still might have to rename my character if this ever went towards publication. It would be that big of a problem. I could always just change it something like Bob The Darkness and then just rarely use the name Bob netting me the same effect with everyone calling the Darkness, the Darkness but offically avoiding problems by making his full name Bob The Darkness.

I'm not totally sure where the law goes there but I'm sure there is some way I could still make it work. Honestly though it would be a very good problem to have sinec that would mean I'd be seriously talking about publishing misadventure.
