They’ve had their fun, now, it’s time to get serious.
Logic and democracy have dictated that the highest ranking officer on the ship is the acting captain in lieu of the real captain.
Unfortunately, Doctor Spr0ck3t Al3x1s Spr0ck3t has no designs on leadership.
From Mars’ Earth Colony Korsika, Spr0ck3t is a cyborg and recent med-academy graduate who joined the Kraivex. Though very adept at her medical practices, she has a wild “party girl” streak a mile wide, and was one of the first who jumped at the chance to join Draxis Beethoven on his unauthorized party jaunt.
Now, faced with responsibility beyond her willingness, she turns down the chance to captain the scout ship, Indomitable.

*”Shubs” is a Ckaltan word that roughly translates as ‘children, kids, squirts, shortys, subordinates, little ones’, etcetera.
