Random/unamed story: Scarlets

I decided I needed to sketch, and Scarlets are my favorite race to sketch, mostly because it's so fun thinking of stories of them.

Scarlets are like child-minded elves.
Aka, they make crayon drawings while being full grown, live a long time, and can blow things up with magic.
Thing is, unlike elves, they're delicate like fine china, break bones, and break the skin easy.

Scarlets only have a short amount of time at the end of their life where they mature mentally and learn the meaning of sex. XD Guys get, like 6 months.
Girls get 3 years.
So, to over compensate for raising young ones and the whole breeding as fast as you can before you die, they tend live in groups and be really great at telling the emotions of others.
Also, they can be craaazy shy and board up their house once they get a partner, and it might take a few nights of sitting back to back before they can even do anything. XD
But yeah, they're adorable. And Blow things up.
