This page drawn by Ed. Read the companion comic FIGHT 2; these stories take place in the same world. Me and Ed both draw for both comics.


Since this comic is normally B&W, the occasional primary color is used to significance. In this case, green is always used for robot/cyborg/tech displays. I told Ed what I wanted, and he visualized it.

A rule of thumb for F1 and F2 is that I didn't want superpeople. Invincible heroes do not exist, plot armour does not exist. 20 combat-ready robots, a cakewalk for a rookie teen or an idiot clown in a Star Wars movie, in reality is quite enough to coat any seasoned Mossad commando in a cold sweat.

Same thing for F2… Just 2 random thugs… Armoured girls with big swords are invincible… No, that's why I showed the thugs using tact; they want to win, too. And 2 vulcan cannons beat any sword. Think about how many "heroes" it is implied that these "issue 1 thugs" have already beaten (Nuada talked about it in chapter 3 of F2).
