Back during FIGHT's first posting, it was done in chapter installments, about once a month. Therefore, sometimes you'd see "recap exposition" pages inserted in a chapter, to remind readers of significant points in the previous chapter. This was such a page. We avoided using straight-up author narration that would break immersion; we used the characters instead.
