Ah… another messy page. Panel 2 was supposed to be the fireballs (at least they are supposed to look like fireballs… :) ) narrowly missing Manfred.

And panel 3 are the fireballs exploding in mid air.

I saw a really good youtube video by David Finch that would have fixed these problems… That and better strategy to create contrast. Framed Ink by Marcos Mateu-Mestre. Wish I had read this book a lot earlier than I did…

I can see now, borderless backgrounds, did nothing to improve clarity.

I think the writing saves this page. Good work mlai and justnopoint!
