On a whim, I decided to color this chapter. I'm still trying to find my way with color. I'm not really a colorist, and I don't have any solid foundation in it.

For this page I decided to go heavily use with the watercolor tool. I don't really know how to use it, but I like how it blurs colors. I like how it mimics watercolor, but in my head it's just digital and it's like not real life. I don't think watercolor really acts the way I used it here, and I'm positive if I were to use real watercolor I'd be like a caveman with the stuff.

I went with the muted colors because I was thinking of the MCU movie color palette and how it kinda used dull tones in general. I was going for a dark lifeless feeling for this page, which reflects the mood of the character.

There's no methodology to the coloring, so when I finished it, I had no clue on how to continue the style, so when you see the next page it has a totally different coloring style. Like true FIGHT fashion it is probably jarring.

It's been a crappy week. Make that a crappy past couple of months. I have 3 pages in the queue after this, and one I'm procrastinating over finishing. After that our weekly updates will turn into whenever we have pages done. Ugh. I kinda don't like that, since we had huge breaks in FIGHT before, but not seeing anyway to get these pages any faster, especially when my motivation is pretty low. I should take the rest of my vacation soon.

Hoping we'll have better momentum in the coming fall.
