First page of the year! It only took 3 months to draw, and 2 more months to finally post it.

So here we continue the color experiment. I'm currently taking a blocking out the foreground approach and coloring the background on a separate layer. The background I chose muted colors to give contrast to the foreground. It took a long time since I didn't know how to use masks, and everything was manual. Pain in the butt! I'm mostly using the water color tool on opaque setting. Our team thought the background was too muted, but since I chose to colors, it took too much effort to correct. I kinda shot myself in the foot for that decision.

Story: It's a nice exchange, and the story is moving along. I prefer action scenes, but stuff like this are good sometimes too. I have 2 other pages in the queue, and currently working on page 11…

Like everyone else I'm in isolation, which gives me an opportunity to draw more, so of course I will do that!
