There were several ways to draw panel 3. As usual, Ed chose the humorous way: Chase is like a little cricket, hiding in a bush but chirping loudly annoying ppl. If you can see her in panel 3, the effect would be lost.
Ed made sooooo many mistakes in transcribing Chase's dialogue. Because he handwrites his text, it was so hard for me to correct everything.
Edit: You'll never get me to make her speak modern English even if I lose all readers LOL. But here's the translation…
"Is that what you say? Seems to me you ought to run for the hills!" "Your friend talked big yesterday, and I beat him down like nothing. And, as I figure it, I'll be doing the same to you!" "He's not afraid to lose his advantage, to challenge me in hand-to-hand combat. He has faith in his banded armour."
