My sister and I were at a park, and all along the street were tiny smashed baby turtles. Well one little guy was still alive. My sister "recused" him. He sat in a tiny, tiny cage for days. All alone. Eventually my dad built him a nice home.

I just thought all of this was hilarious (Not the caged turtle, that's not funny. But the "rescuing".) And I couldn't resist illustrating it.
