No inking again tonight. If I had one advice to give you about coloring, it would be this: make sure you have a solid sketch first. And because this is really good advice, I never follow it myself. (-_-); Also, don't color with the mouse. I have had cramps in both shoulders for the last two days from working on this thing. Still, I like the effect, especially for the close up. I may use it for the next strip, since it has a couple of those.
By the way, did anybody notice that something was missing in the last two panels? The redhead (whose name happens to be Daphne, though it isn't important) is missing the shoulder thingies to her dress. At first, it was just a mistake. The sketch was pale, and I completely drew over them when I got to the coloring stage. After debating whether I should add them or not, I decided that Daphne is just not the kind of girl who would wear anything superfluous. She probably wanted to show up to the wedding in very low cut jeans.
The guy standing at the far right is meant to look like my best friend (and he's probably gonna want to kill me for it, which is what makes the whole idea appealing), who acted as my husband's witness when we got married. Nothing as formal as what you see right now ;o) The groom does take after my husband, since he is, of course, my idea of a prince charming.
