It's a SPLASH PAGE! No sounds or dialogue, I felt they would only weaken the page in this case.
I actually hate drawing splash pages, they have to work as stand-alone pieces of art, 'cause there aren't any other panels. Also, when you're drawing a splash page, there's no obvious place to stop and take a rest!
This image has been in my head for ages now, I just wasn't sure how I was going to go about drawing it! Originally, I was going to pencil and CG, but I figured that would make it feel out of place from the other pages, plus recently I've been reading 'Hellboy' and 'Scott Pilgrim' and so I wanted to be bold with black and white and bright colours.
Overall feeling about this page: Pretty satisfied.
