Page 44: Whatever Happened To What's His Name?

This page may have come out a little more ominous than intended. It's not supposed to sound like Ichabod's plotting anything evil or whatever, it's just establishing that he had an earlier traveling companion… who apparently made a really creepy sound when his flesh evaporated. And no, I have no clue what brought that about. I'm sure whatever you can imagine is better than anything I could say.

Also, you'll notice that Ichabod seems to have a bit of a Doctor Who complex: making a habit of inviting random souls along for rides. It's a really convenient way to work extra characters into the plot, which is good because I plan on cramming this comic FULL of 'em :D
