Page 288: Nitpickers require lots of supervision

So, I've learned one important thing from doing this story arc: there is a limit to how many characters I can keep in play per page, an it's about half what I was trying for this time. Seriously, go back and try to count how many times somebody mysteriously disappears for a page. There's a lot of 'em.

And this is a hard lesson for me to learn, too, 'cos I ADORE dreaming up new characters. Why, I've been giddy all weekend over introducing Sophia and Claire into the action. granted, they WERE some of the earliest Far Out There characters I designed, so I've been looking forward to using them for a WHILE. Plus, they're just FUN. Cute, diminutiveness authority figures are always a hoot, so that makes Sophia fun, and it's nice to have a gunweilding girl who's more cool than crazy (like Stilez) …and just between you and me, a woman in a suit is HAWT.

OH! And speaking of too many characters at once, this week's incentive showcases a few characters we've seen VERY little of lately.
