I think Alphonse has inherited a bit of my own early days (oh, what a surprise, the guy who draws cartoon on the internet was a shy bookworm growing up) I certainly read a lot more then than I do now.

I always wonder if it was a good idea to give Alphonse glowing red eyes when he uses this power, seeing as how that's pretty much the universal sign of ABSOLUTE EVIL. Well, I guess I shouldn't worry too much, since it's STILL Alphonse we're talking about. I could probably draw him eating a kitten and he'd still be huggable.
