I love the detail… I thought the other pages looked wonderful too though, you are a very gifted artist… I love how the hair turned out, and the clothing (especially on the old man) really looks great, it really looks.. well.. real, the way you've shaded it makes it look like it's hanging and folding the way real cloth would

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it, any suggestions? (I need to get better at backgrounds, the things we tried made the characters look so much better and the backgrounds didn't keep up!)
The fire was a big pain, it took me almost an hour to remember fire has white in it…
and thanks for the comment on the hair, I actually did this page at 1200 dpi instead of the normal 300 most of the detail was eaten when it was turned down to 72 dpi, but the hint of detail is still there

WHOA! The old dude looks really detailed. (I can even make out the little fire pixie thing.)I love the attention to the clothes and the shading is excellent. Also, I don't know how Zeik did it, but the hair really has texture and feel. (Nice hand.) ;D
