04-10: Grace Cathedral

Finally!
Welcome to Grace Cathedral in San Francisco- part of the reason I put the pirate pub in San Fran to beign with. I think this cathedral is the only one in the US that still has the labyrinth intact. That's what Hawke's standing on in case you wondered. If you want to know more about them, go look them up online. Most churches have destroyed them because of their ties to Paganism.

Things have been hectic here. It's test time in Japan, along with cold season. I went to Kyoto last week, and there's been a party every day of the weekend. Rough times. ^_^ I'll try to get back on track.

Jenshin: The fact that our comics showed people walking through cityscapes with umbrellas at the same time frightens me somewhat.

Ozone Ocean: My stylized cars go with my stylized people. Somewhere between real and really not. The page was darker because of softer pencil and when I hiked the contrast it sucked up more of the greys as black- plus it's just got more lead on the page.

Mina Lunga: You're right- Hawke is the only person we've heard thinking. Glad you liked the spirally porthole glass.

Kalliikak: Yea, I think this page is probably the same size… I should fix that and make them smaller, but I think after this page I'll bump it back down to the smaller pages. We'll see. I just needed to get across the idea of the big city- whether I did or not is questionable. I got too lazy to draw more buildings. … I should have my characters go into a cave and battle dragons. No buildings there. ^_^

Petey: Catching up is fun, though! Lots to read! I like the term "pirate noir."

Hamorhage: You should be confused now! You miss one page in my comic and your brain might explodey! Hope you don't face that reality. I'll try to be more non-confused. Though this next scene won't help much. Sorry!

Maulgyrve: Someday a pub front like that should exist so I can go to it.

ThisbeRichard: Yesh, well, that's why I don't turn to you for artistic advice. Just plot advancement advice. Although… I'm ignoring your advice on the next page and I bet ten bucks yer gonna be mad at me!

EJB: Yea, your random disappearance worried me. I had to check other people's comics to make sure you didn't just randomly hate me or something.
What happened? Did you die? Did you start a comic?

Lorelai: Ah, my posting frequency just decreases because of real life stuff, not because of page sizes.
