EDIT: Real comment time. First of all, I want to ask if anyone else has this shifting style problem that I seem to have. It feels as though every page I draw is completely different than the one before. This page was so aggravating for me because I drew it in one sitting (entrance exam day) and I had been drawing it at an angle so everything came out wonky and evil. Maybe you can't tell what I did and did not change about it, but I erased almost all the faces (excluding Tja in 1 and 5) and touched up everything. It was actually quite painful to do, reaffirming the fact that this is not my dream job. At any rate, I want to apologize for having a lack of harmony between my pages, and a lack of commitment that is required to keep webcomics updating. I will try to do better now that my life is finally sinking into a rhythm I can count on. At any rate, thank-you for the comments on the last page because it gave me a feel for what you guys want. Quality vs. quantity, etc. Cheers.
Comments: Darth Mongoose: Thanks! That definition comment is certainly important in your work, I see. YOu have very bold lines and definite color, I can see why you'd pick up on that in my work. I'm glad I'm doing better. Sketchy lines were a bit confusing.
Ozone Ocean: You have some interesting ideas. *grin* Tjakhlune has always been Tja's whole name. I think it was mentioned once before. I made it up because I liked the German male name "Tjaden" from "All Quiet on the Western Front." Which means TJakhlune would be pronounced something like "Jack-loon" with a Frenchish accent. …I thought it was cool. ~_~ As for Iago Jester. Hrm. Iago was my favorite Shakespeare villian (probably because my friends related me to him for my fair-weather-friend ways in the day) and Jester was my nickname in high school which may or may not be because I wore a jester hat and was a class-clown. It's all changed now, but I like to remember that I once was fun. I like your Ozone Ocean explanation better.
Maulgyre: Shading around the eyes is one of the few things I maintain from my real-life drawing classes. Thanks!
ejb: Nifty keen! Yea, she kinda looked like she was 12 years old in that last panel. I think Wolfe has a way of making her look and feel 12 when he's around.
Jenshin: You're nervous that the captain is losing her cool "I have control over all" edge? Yea. It happens.
Thisberichard: Yea, I guess I already commented on yours, but you don:t have to stop commenting all-together, I just meant you can't be organizing the rebellion that will get to the root of the plot before I do. Beh! =P
ZoeStead: It:s true, but not all men should have pony-tails. It's also harder to make them look male.
Nigellashade: Hey, thanks for the comment, and the mail, that was really cool of you. You don't have to thank me for liking your comic- it's just cool. And thanks for your review of my comic. I'm surprised you read all that so fast. I hadn't realized how long it had gotten. =)
Darkmax- Woot! Glad you think so. My work here is done.
Last page- Kavnonn- Your innability to decide for me will be remembered. ^_^ But I'm glad you liked that 5th panel. The hand is of, but… meh. It's a feeling, not an anatomy study.
Mina Lunga: I kept the octopussy hair just for you.
Vendrus Sci: Oh, hey! I feel like I haven't seen ya around in a while. I really respect your comment, there, and am amazed that you thought of Fated Feather outside of DD. I looked up that song, and you're right. It does seem very applicable, doesn't it? As for computer touch ups… when I do them they look like computer touch-ups and that's not so good on these heavy-hand-drawn pages. Someday I'll figure it out, I guess.
p.s. Isn't anyone gonna ask how Wolfe manages to jump around and shift through time without an open sky? Bwa ha ha!
