They added a new school to my work schedule which makes my life more complicated- to say nothing of the fact that they won't let me drive, but there is virtually no sane way to get to my school, so I have to bike far-far-far. Anyway, they were showing me the map and what roads I should use to get there (since countryside Japan has NO sidewalks one should avoid busy roads). After my instructions, I turned the map over and drew myself a little "You can do it!" pick-me-up. Then I realized what I wrote was so UN-English that I had to laugh at myself… or rather, my crew had to laugh at me…
Oh, Bowern is saying, "Gambatte," which means, "Persevere!" in Japanese. It's such a common saying it has apparently infiltrated my English. -_-
Anyway, there it is. Enjoy alsn's attempt at small cute versions of the crew.
