06-04: A Book

The image quality of this page is worse than usual on account that I am away from my scanner and had to take a picture of the page and rework it in Photoshop in order to get this up by Wednesday. But it does have my old font back since I'm working on my laptop.
On a side note- I am currently in Portland, Oregon, finishing up my road trip. It looks like all my coin is about to run out, so I'll probably head home soon to avoid bankruptcy like the rest of the country. I am staying with the friend who inspired Lyrwen (pictured above) and discussing with her how funny it is that one day when we were road tripping to see a love interest of hers in Iowa I had come up with this comic I wanted to draw and we worked her into it. The necklace (she truly owns such a necklace), back then, was meant for something else, but to see how it has transformed in the story is fascinating. And that I should finally get to the necklace upon arriving at her doorstep is also fairly amusing, if not pure fate!
Hopefully I'll have my hands on a scanner for the next update.
