The author has abandoned us all and gone to Japan! Woe betide us poor readers, desperate for updates!

I'm sure, were she not gallivanting about on the other side of the planet, she would convey her regrets about not getting an update out last week, the fact that she will not be able to have one for next week, and her continued delinquency with regard to the matter of responding to comments.

Hopefully, everything will be back to normal in two weeks.
