Ah. Art history is love.

If you're confused it's probably because this chapter started with a flashback, and we're picking up from the end of Book VII right now. If you recall, Captain Mustache (Malevin) snatched up Laryk (who defected from Hawke's crew) and took her to Captain Wolfe. Wolfe's ship escaped with the dawn with the help of Kaanis, who engaged Captain Hawke in a sword fight and tackled her into the ocean- thus making him return to his "True time" and place, which we will soon discover on the next page. This page is Kaanis' line of sight as he is slowly waking up from a very crude travel through time.

Minalunga: I do color because I ought to. I want to like it- it's just that it takes a long time and I don't think it's essential to the drawings I do. If I did more graphic stuff, it would look better. or if I did better coloring it would look better. The bottom line is- Flashbacks are in color. That has to continue throughout the story.
