One of the common complaints of the first incarnation of Fried Ice Cream is a Reality was that the disparate art styles of Cheryl and myself distracted people from the story.
I didn't really take these complaints all that much to heart. After all, the entire point of Fried Ice Cream is a Reality was that I was taking scraps of discarded artwork by somebody else and inventing a story around them. It's supposed to be disparate, damn you!
I haven't really gotten any complaints of such for this version. Maybe the color serves to unify things a little bit.
Well, this page is pretty flagrantly done by different people. The President Kill in the first panel and the President Kill in the jumbo-sized fourth panel are quite different from each other.
Needless to say, Cheryl did the big fourth panel. I did the brick background behind President Kill though. Cheryl didn't really do backgrounds in those days, which usually helped me segue her drawings into certain scenes.
