There is a funny story behind the demon. In english class I used to sit next to this guy named Nathan. He used to always make me laugh. He was also one hell of an artist. One day, he drew me this picture of this winged demon (which ended up being used for this comic) and so I drew him a picture of a different demon. We started doing this exchange back and forth. One day, he drew a check mark on one of the pictures, and I thought it looked like a "V". I added a few letters myself to make it spell "Vanilla" and so we made our picture exchanges say "Vanilla" on them in different lettering each time. I forget why we thought it was funny to call it vanilla…I think it had something to do with the tremendous flop of rapper Vanilla Ice.
