Fillers of Xade
Author notes
Sazzy Toon
Xade onAs I promised today is devoted to snazzy toon I added 2 lights, one point light before them on the "landing" to serve as interior lighting at 200% brightness, and a spotlight to serve as a sun behind and above them, a good distance away, normal lighting. Both lights cast shadows, however you will notice vast changes in their hair.
Panel by panel commentary.
Panel One
This one has the lines on it, leaving it with well defined edge lines and Bunni's hair purple, which is the color I chose because it shows up best on rendering, and will well defined shadows. Both girls have an anime hair texture, with no transparency to it. So, with this type of hair this is a fine render, and I would accept it as a comic, after fixing the poke-through of course.
This can be easily done by a D-fromer or two, or in Sherry Ann's case some reposing and possibly going into Hexagon and fixing the mesh. Both outfits were transferred to the models using Wardrobe Wizard. Sometimes it doesnt fit to the model right, meaning that I have to adjust it Sherry Ann's dress needed adjusted big time to fit her right but WW has a bunch of goodies to help on that.
Panel Two
This one, on the other hand has no lines on both of their hair. Sherry Ann's had no major effect, Bunny on the other hand became brown and lost almost all of the details. What looked great on Alex's hair in the IOX filler looks lousy here, because there is no transparency map.
Panel Three
However, with a quick map change to blond with streaks and a transparency (I had used the purple so I can see how the hair spiraled around) we see a vast change. Now she looks more like Alex, with well defined hair, which basically tops off that look nicely. Hard to believe that's the same mesh but different texture, isnt it? It looks a little odd beside Sherry Ann's hair but, since I dont have any other pig tails, and she is scripted to have pigtails most of the time then it should be fine. I can easily change the color of the girls by adding a base color and messing with the texture transparency and other things. On another note, Sherry Anne's dress has no texture, it is simply colored red using daz3d, which I'll have to do to most of the character's outfits to blend in with my comic's style.
Panel 3 looks to be the best to me; all I would have to do is make the one railing invisible, add a wall with the print on it that I have the pattern for, change their colors to be correct, and I could publish it. Course, I havent fully explored pwToon yet, I might be able to fix the changes and stuff, but I'm just showing different styles or rendering. Tell me what you think :) please
