I got a lot of complaints about this the first time, so I'll explain it here…
That green doohicky is rather flimsy. It can't really hurt people, not badly, the best it can do is startle people. Sometimes that's all the edge you need, but that's why she goes for his foot. She can reach it easily, and it's enough to startle him (cuz it does hurt a little)
