You know, I've had this little speech written for Ry for over three years now…It's true! I was inspired for it while working at the restaurant, and not wanting to forget it, I wrote it on the back of an old menu (which I still have). It has changed very little from that original script too, which is odd. Normally I re-write things over and over. The only real changes I made were to cut it down because I was terrified that I wouldn't be able to fit it all in. In retrospect I prolly could've fit it, but the stuff I cut didn't really add anything, it just made it flow a bit more smoothly.

I thought it was kinda important to do this. Trey's point is completely valid, and his is the argument I prolly would've made in the same situation. The thing is Ry is essentially making the SAME argument. "I don't like that you did this. Don't do it again." However, he's putting it in a much different way, and in a way that Katyn is far more likely to listen too. Rather than demand, he's asking. I kinda wanted to do that because people demand things all the time, and it's frustrating to me. If they'd just ask me nicely, I'd be happy to do it, but when they demand, I'm far more likely to dig my heels in stubbornly and hold a grudge (I'm a bit of a jerk like that XD) Interesting how changing the method rather than the message can lead to better results.

Gotta feel a little bad for Trey here, though. I think Ry won this round. XD Trey's a good guy! He really is! And he means well, but he just doesn't really know how to go about dealing with people. He really needs to get that temper under control.

Funny side note: I forgot to ink Katyn in the last panel. If you look - she's in pencil. I darkened the lines of the original drawing, scanned it, darkened them some more, and edited it in. I totally forgot her! XD

In other news: I drew something!

Thanks for reading! See you next week!
