So yes…a bunch of this chapter will be devoted to Elrek's backstory. Why am I putting Elrek's backstory in the comic when I didn't put Ry's in? Well…for one, I wanted it to be posted before this chapter, and that obviously didn't happen - for two, it will explain something that will come up in the next chapter - but mostly just because without it, this chapter was pretty much just a fight scene, and that seemed like it would be a bit dull…

The main downside to doing this, though, is that I had to cut out a LOT of the story to fit it in a chapter (it would be a two part prose story). The upside, though, is that'll it'll actually come out this way, haha. I'll explain some things that got cut as they come up, but until I actually release the whole thing, I guess my notes can't really be considered part of the story…so feel free to ignore them.
